Movers and Shakers from February

FM Conway

Have announced that CEO and Group Chair, Joanne Conway, has stepped down following the company’s acquisition by VINCI in January.

Following this, Andrew Hansen, Board Member and CEO, will oversee the next stage of the company’s growth within VINCI.

 

Balfour Beatty

Have announced executive committee sector leads.

Steve Tarr, current Divisional CEO of Power Transmission & Distribution, Rail and Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick, will also serve as Group Sector Lead for UK Energy.

Phil Clifton, current Divisional CEO of Major Projects, Highways and Ground Engineering Business, will also serve as Group Sector Lead for UK Transport, excluding HS2.

Finally, Nick Crossfield, current CEO for Regional Civil and Building, Living Places and the Asset Technology Solution Businesses, will also be Group Sector Lead for UK Defence.

 

AtkinsRéalis

Have announced some key internal changes to their leadership team.

Richard Robinson has been appointed as President- Asia, Middle East & Australia (AMEA). Robinson moves internally from his position as President of UK & Ireland.

Moving into Robinson’s role is Chris Ball, effective March 1st. Ball is currently Chief Operating Officer for the company’s Nuclear business.

 

Network Rail

Have announced the appointment of Julien Dehornoy as NW&C Deputy Regional Managing Director. Dehorney joins from Keolis Downer in Melbourne, Australia where he has been Chief Executive Officer.

 

AECOM

Have announced the departure of Chief Executive Officer, Colin Wood. Wood has been succeeded by Richard Whitehead who was AECOM’s Buildings and Places global business line Chief Executive.

ARCADIS

Have appointed Jo Moffatt as Business Director for Rail South, West & Wales. Moffatt joins from AtkinsRéalis, where she was Strategy Director- Engineering & Design Global Capabilities.

 

CrossCountry

Have appointed Shiona Rolfe as Managing Director. Rolfe joins from Amazon, where she General Manager responsible for heading the fulfilment operation in the South West and West Yorkshire.

 

BSP Consulting

Jason Davenport has been appointed as Director of Traffic and Transportation. He takes over from one of the founding Directors of BSP Consulting, Mark Rayers, who is stepping back to become a part-time consultant to the business. Davenport moves internally from his position as Associate Director.

 

Gleeds

Have appointed David Johnson as Chief Operating Officer. Johnson moves internally from his position as Managing Director, Gleeds Europe.

 

Laing O’Rourke

Have announced the appointment of Ray O’Rourke as Chairman, effective from April. O’Rourke, the founder and former CEO, will succeed Sir John Parker, who is stepping down at the end of March.

 

Burns & McDonnell

Have appointed Kyle Roberts as the new Executive Managing Director for the U.K. Roberts has worked for Burns & McDonnell for 20 years and moved to the UK last year.

  

McLaren Property, Living and Regeneration

Have appointed Jon Mangham as Construction Director- North. Mangham joins from EQUANS, where he was Regional Director.

 

Alstom

Have announced the appointment of Adam Parsons as Senior Delivery Director. Parsons joins from Balfour Beatty plc, where he was Regional Programme Director.

WSP

Have announced the appointment of Chris Cowland as Head of Offshore Wind. Cowland joins from Worley, where he was Vice President Growth, Low Carbon Energy, Global Offshore Wind Sector Lead.

 

Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB)

Have appointed Rachel Everard as Director of Sustainability. Everard joins from Rolls-Royce, where she was Head of Sustainability.
