Movers & Shakers from February

Balfour Beatty plc

Have announced the appointment of Myles Westcott as Group Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Phil Harrison, who is stepping down after 10 years in the role.

Westcott joins from BAE Systems, where he is currently Chief Financial Controller.

 

Arcadis

Have announced the appointment of Peter Hogg as Country Director for the UK & Ireland. Hogg takes on the role internally alongside his current position as London City Executive and UK Cities Director.

 

Gas Networks Ireland

Have announced the appointment of David Kelly as Chief Executive Officer. Kelly moves internally from his position as Executive Director.

 

Wabtec Corporation

Have announced the appointment of Andy Derbyshire as President, Global Transit Services. Derbyshire moves internally from his position as Group Vice President Operations / Chief Operating Officer.

 

Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE)

Have announced the appointment of Milda Manomaityte as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Kate Jennings. Manomaityte will join from the Railway Industry Association (RIA), where she is currently Chief Operating Officer & Company Secretary.

 

Pennon Group

Have appointed Ian Christie into the newly created role of Chief Asset Officer. Christie joins from Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, where he is currently Managing Director – Water Services, Capital Delivery and Asset Planning.

 

Willmott Dixon

Have made three Managing Director appointments:

Judy Hegarty has been appointed as Managing Director at Fortem, the company’s Property Solutions division for Social Housing. Hegarty moves internally, having served the role as Deputy Managing Director since January 2025.

Simon Ramage has been appointed as Managing Director for the London & East construction region. Ramage also moves internally where he served the role as Deputy Managing Director since August 2025.

Finally, Adam Worrall has been appointed as Managing Director at Willmott Interiors. Worall also moved internally where he served the role as Deputy since July 2024.

 

Arup

Have appointed Richard Mansfield as Light Rail Leader. Mansfield joins from Pell Frischmann, where he was Divisional Director and Rail Lead (North).

 

Accenture

Adam Rome has been appointed as Director – Infrastructure & Capital Projects. Rome joins from AtkinsRéalis, where he was Growth Director – Project & Programme Services.

 

Stantec

Have announced the appointment of Tim Cooper as Director of Strategy & Growth – Global. Cooper joins from Arcadis, where he was Partner, Client Development Director – Water, Energy & Environment.

They have also appointed Scott Elliott as Regional Business Lead for Buildings. Elliott joins from Hydrock, where he was Managing Director.

 

Grant Thornton UK

Have announced several new internal Advisory Partner appointments:

Robert Turner and Alasdair Grainger have both been appointed as Partners within the Consulting Practice. Within these appointments, Turner leads Public Services Consulting and Grainger leads Energy Transition and Sustainability. Turner moves internally from his position as Director, whilst Grainger moves internally from his position as Net Zero Managing Director.

They have also appointed Thomas Middleton and Joel Strange as Partners, co-leading the Economic Consulting division. Middleton and Strange both move internally from their position as Managing Director, Economic Consulting.

Additionally, Adam Hughes has been appointed as Partner in Debt and Capital Advisory. Hughes moves internally from his position as Director, Debt Advisory.

Finally, Emma Young and Ben Langford have been appointed as Partner within Business Risk Services. Young moves internally from her position as Director, Business Risk Services, whilst Langford moves internally from his position as Internal Audit Director.

 

Gardiner & Theobald LLP

Stacie Mastrodomenico has been appointed as Partner. Mastrodomenico joins from AtkinsRéalis, where she was Infrastructure Sector Director.

 

Turner & Townsend

Have appointed Alan Meikle as Global H&S Director. Meikle moves internally from his position as Director SHQ – UK Infrastructure.

 

Porterbrook

Have announced the appointment of Bruno Muller as Chief Business Officer. Muller moves internally from his position as Director of Strategy & Sustainability.

 

Egis

Felix Beeson has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer, Europe & Africa. Beeson joins from EY-Parthenon, where he was Director – Infrastructure Advisory.

 

Collen Construction

Have appointed Derek Gormley as Pre-Construction Director. Gormley joins from John Sisk & Son Ltd, where he was Director Preconstruction & Fitout.

 

Nuclear Transport Solutions (NTS) Rail

Gottfried Eymer, Managing Director – Rail, has announced that he is leaving the business after two years. His successor has yet to be announced.

 

Circet IRE & UK

Have appointed Sabina Astarita as Managing Director – Energy (UK). Astarita joins from Balfour Beatty plc, where she was Business Director.

 

Knights Brown

Have announced the appointment of Simon Osborne as Divisional Director for Water. Osborne joins from MWH Treatment, where he was Operational Lead.

 

Nomad Digital

Jean-Philippe Garbit has been appointed as Managing Director. Garbit moves from Alstom, where he was Managing Director for Digital & Integrated Systems (Nordics).

 

STRABAG UK

Have appointed Glyn Edwards as Project Director on the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme (HARP). Edwards joins from CPB Contractors in Australia, where he was General Manager – Tunnelling.

 

Balfour Beatty VINCI

Have announced the appointment of Stephen Tomkins as Project Director for HS2 Area North. Tomkins joins from Balfour Beatty plc, where he was Project Director for Hinkley Point C Tunnels & Marine.

 

Network Plus

Have made several appointments to their Commercial Leadership Structure:

Chris Silcock has been appointed as Commercial Director, South West Region.

Martin Crook has been appointed as Commercial Director, Central Hub and Special Projects.

Additionally, Daniel Wiseman has been appointed as Commercial Director Midlands, South West and Northwest. Wiseman moves internally from his position as Head of Commercial.

Peter Quinn has been appointed as Commercial Director, South East Region. Quinn also moves internally from his position as Head of Commercial.

David Atherton has been appointed as Commercial Director, North West Region also moving internally from his position as Head of Commercial.

Finally, Rob Ward has been appointed as Commercial Director, Midlands.

Have appointed Andrew Barr as Chief Operating Officer. Barr joins from Hitachi, where he was President of Hitachi EMEA and VP and Executive Officer.

Have announced the appointment of Victoria Hodge as Managing Director. Hodge joins from Petards Rail Solutions, where she was General Manager.
