Movers & Shakers from June

London Gatwick

Have announced the appointment of Pierre-Hugues Schmit as Chief Executive Officer.

This appointment follows the news of current Chief Executive, Stewart Wingate, becoming Managing Director of UK Airports – a newly created position by investment group Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) and airport operator, VINCI.

Schmitt will join from VINCI Airports, where he is currently Chief Commercial and Operational Officer.

 

Toronto Transit Commission

Have announced the appointment of Mandeep Lali as Chief Executive Officer. Lali joins from the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where he is currently Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Subway.

 

Cubic Transportation Systems

Have appointed William Wilson as Senior Vice President and Managing Director EMEA. Wilson was formally Chief Executive Officer at Linbrooke Services and prior to that CEO of Siemens Mobility UK.

 

Skanska UK

Have announced the appointment of Adam Crossley as Executive Vice President for HR, Communications & Customer Experience. Crossley joins internally from his position as Director of Sustainability & Innovation.

 

SYSTRA UK & Ireland

Have announced the appointment of Gareth Davies as Market Director for Water and Environment. Davies joins from Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, where he was Head of Commercial – Water Network Alliance.

 

GTS Elizabeth Line

Vanessa (Williamson) Russell has been appointed as People Director. Russell joins from Chiltern Railways, where she was Human Resources Director.

 

East West Railway Company

Kayleigh Spires has been appointed as Industry Programme Director. Spires joins from Network Rail, where she is currently National Access for All Programme Director.

 

COWI

Have announced the appointment of Andy Sloan as Executive Vice President COWI UK and International. Sloan joins internally from his position as Managing Director & Senior Vice President

 

Balfour Beatty plc

Have announced the appointment of Nick Rowan as Managing Director of Balfour Beatty’s UK Construction Services Regional Scotland business.

He succeeds Hector MacAulay, who will be retiring at the end of the year after 40 years in the business. Rowan joins internally from his position as Director of New Business.

 

Arcadis

Have appointed Donald Morrison as Global Operations Officer - Places. Morrison was formally Chief Growth Officer at Jacobs.

 

National Highways

Martyn Gannicott has been appointed as Director of Commercial (Operations). Gannicott joins internally from his position as Commercial Services Director.

 

Enoda

Have appointed Malcolm Keys are Chief Commercial Officer. Keys was formally Group Business Development Director at Boldyn Networks.

 

CILT(UK)

Have announced the appointment of Helen Hardy as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Hardy joins internally from her position as Director of Partnerships & Marketing.

This follows the announcement of the departure of Paul Adams from the position of Chief Executive Officer. The permanent position has yet to be announced.

 

Capgemini Engineering

Hae appointed Peter Hargraves as Head of Aerospace and Defence UK. Hargraves joins from Turner & Townsend, where he was Director – UK Defence Market Lead.

 

Edinburgh Airport

Have announced the appointment of Stephanie Wear as Chief Commercial Officer. Wear joins from Gatwick Airport, where she was Vice President of Aviation Development.
