A leading consultancy has retained our services to recruit a Director who will lead the Integrated Controls capability within the Programme and Project Management team in London. This is a senior leadership role focused on delivering high-value programme controls services across sectors including energy, water, transport, complex buildings, and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, lead a London-based team of 40 specialists, and shape the future of our client’s controls services across a UK and global network.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership to integrated controls specialists (planning, risk, procurement, digital systems, and more)
- Drive client development, work-winning and targeted proposition building
- Act as the recognised lead for project controls across the consultancy’s global teams
- Shape and implement a consistent, best practice approach to integrated controls
- Develop strategic supplier arrangements to complement in-house capabilities
- Lead a strong internal community, fostering leadership, collaboration and innovation
- Champion digital transformation in project delivery
- Deliver projects while also developing future capability and talent
Requirements
- Strong track record building lasting client relationships and leading high-performing teams
- Experience advising clients on delivering strategy, programme setup, governance and outcomes
- Leadership experience at Director level (or equivalent) in complex built environment or infrastructure programmes
- Comfortable working closely with client organisations, with the ability to bring fresh thinking and challenge constructively
- Experience navigating politically sensitive programmes with confidence and diplomacy
- Committed to building client capability and sharing knowledge
- Familiar with the use of digital tools and systems in programme delivery
- Degree qualified or equivalent.
