Movers and Shakers from January

Network Rail

Have announced the appointment of Dave Hooper as Managing Director for the Southern Region, succeeding Ellie Burrows, who will move into the position of Managing Director for the Eastern Region. Hooper will join from Siemens, where he is currently Director of Major Programmes.

 

Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE)

Have announced the appointment of Fern Curtis as Operations and Production Director. Curtis joins from United Utilities, where she was Capital Delivery Director- Wastewater.

 

Morgan Sindall

Have announced that Chair, Michael Findlay, is stepping down after 9 years in the role. His successor has been named as Peter Harrison, former Chief Executive Officer of Schroders.

 

Clegg Construction

Dan Manley moves internally to become Commercial Director with board level responsibilities. Manley joined the business in 2021 as Head of Commercial.

 

 Heidelberg Materials UK

Scott Cooper has joined as Managing Director Contracting. Cooper joins from Kier, where he was Managing Director, Major Projects and Design Solutions.

 

Freightliner Group Ltd

Have appointed Dan Smith as Operations Director. Smith joins from Stelling Properties, where he was Chief Operating Officer.

David Dunne has been appointed as Managing Director, Regulated Power. Dunne joins from Balfour Beatty plc, where he was Head of Business Development.

 

Tilbury Douglas

Have appointed Jane O’Leary as Sector Director for Devolved Government. O’Leary joins from ISG, where she was Sector Director Education/Social Value Lead.

 

Egis in the UK

Yasir Mustafa joins as Senior Director for Programme, Project & Commercial Management UK, Ireland & Europe. Mustafa leaves Mace, where he was Director of Operations, Head of Cost & Commercial Nuclear, Energy, Utilities – Europe.

 

Agilia Infrastructure Partners

Have appointed Roy Hill as Senior Advisor. Hill has previously been Senior Vice President at AECOM.

 

 McLaren Construction

Have appointed Glen Harding as Commercial Director for the Construction Management & Specialist Projects division. Harding joins from Sir Robert McAlpine, where he was also Commercial Director.

 

Aggregate Industries

Have appointed Kevin Murgatroyd as Managing Director for its Contracting business. Murgatroyd moves internally from his position as Regional Director- Surfacing Solutions South.
