Movers & Shakers from August

Network Rail

Have announced the appointment of Jeremy Westlake as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Andrew Haines who will be retiring. Westlake has been appointed internally from his position as Chief Financial Officer.

 

Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail)

Have announced the appointment of Mary Considine as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Jim Meade who will be retiring later this year. Considine joins from The Shannon Airport Group, where she is currently also Chief Executive Officer.

 

Galliford Try

Have announced the appointment of Thomas Faulkner as Divisional Managing Director of Specialist Services and Executive Board Member. Faulkner left Skanska in December, where he was Executive Vice President – Infrastructure.

 

BAM UK & Ireland

They have appointed Abigail Farrell-Black as Executive Director of Finance. Farrell-Black joins from Thames Water, where she was Finance Director for Operations.

 

Costain Group plc

Have made two changes to their leadership team.

Matt Bateman has been appointed as Water Sector Director. Bateman previously worked at Openreach, where he was Director of Infrastructure Development.

Gerard Shore has been appointed as Strategic Programmes Director for Water. Shore moves internally from his position as Director – Water Sector.

 

Severfield

Have appointed Paul McNerney as Chief Executive Officer. McNerney joins from Laing O’Rourke, where he is currently Director – Clients and Government.

 

Skanska

Have appointed James Davies are Divisional Director for the Defence & Health sectors. Davies joins from Laing O’Rourke, where he is currently Operations Leader.

 

ScotRail

David Ross has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Ross moves internally from his position as Director of Communications.

 

Turner & Townsend

Have made three new changes to their leadership team.

Mike O’Donnell has been appointed as UK PMC Lead Director. O’Donnell joins from Sir Robert McAlpine, where he was Managing Director.

Al Fernie has been appointed as Project Director. Fernie joins from Ikaria Lifestyle, where he was Director of Operations.

Finally, Jason Smith has been appointed as Director for the Real Estate division. Smith joins from JRL Group, where he was Technical Director.

 

Eric Wright Group

Gavin Hulme has been appointed as Managing Director of its Civil Engineering Division. Hulme moves internally from his position as Operations Director.
